Types of Appointments

  • Telephone consultation, is used to discuss test results or clarify questions.
  • Consult at the practice, here, one complaint is addressed.
  • Assistant consultation, here, specific procedures are performed, such as ear syringing, periodic injections, removal of stitches, population screening, (24-hour) blood pressure monitoring, and blood sampling.
  • Practice nurse somatic care, consultations for CVRM, COPD, diabetes mellitus, atrial fibrillation, elderly care, and smoking cessation.
  • Mental Health Practice Nurse (POH-GGZ), after referral by the GP for psychological problems.
  • E-consultations, these are online consultations and are scheduled via the portal for non-urgent matters.

    Suitable questions for an eConsult via the Uw Zorg Online portal are:

    • questions about lifestyle
    • questions about medication
    • questions about tests and test results
    • questions about complaints previously discussed in consultation
    • follow-up and questions about chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure, asthma, or diabetes


    Do not make use of an eConsult for:

    • urgent questions
    • questions about a new complaint
    • questions that may require a physical examination
    • emotional / psychological problems
