Types of Appointments
- Telephone consultation, is used to discuss test results or clarify questions.
- Consult at the practice, here, one complaint is addressed.
- Assistant consultation, here, specific procedures are performed, such as ear syringing, periodic injections, removal of stitches, population screening, (24-hour) blood pressure monitoring, and blood sampling.
- Practice nurse somatic care, consultations for CVRM, COPD, diabetes mellitus, atrial fibrillation, elderly care, and smoking cessation.
- Mental Health Practice Nurse (POH-GGZ), after referral by the GP for psychological problems.
- E-consultations, these are online consultations and are scheduled via the portal for non-urgent matters.
Suitable questions for an eConsult via the Uw Zorg Online portal are:
- questions about lifestyle
- questions about medication
- questions about tests and test results
- questions about complaints previously discussed in consultation
- follow-up and questions about chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure, asthma, or diabetes
Do not make use of an eConsult for:- urgent questions
- questions about a new complaint
- questions that may require a physical examination
- emotional / psychological problems
